2006 Subaru Impreza WRX hitch.

Easy installation on a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon. It is the stock muffler which is still rather large with a large outlet and the hitch cleared it with no problem. The appearance is mostly hidden and clean.

Are you sure this is a Class II?

Incredibly solid, and very heavy. I thought that the exhaust bend would be a weak point but the metal is much thicker than it appears in online photos. This thing has the same tongue weight limit and tow limit as the only available Class III hitch for the 98-08 Foresters at a much lower (Amazon super saver shipping…) price. How can you go wrong?

Easy install

Had no problems. Took longer to get my tools out and put a way then to install. I’ve pulled a 2000# camper and a 1500# boat with no issues.
